There are the times we hear of battles and of wars
with nation against nation
There's famine in the land, the whole world's out of hand
Yet this is not the end

The darkness carries on as if it will prevail
It rises only to fail
The boasting of the world and knowledge without God
leave man in the dark to how he's flawed

There is no way to bring true healing in this world
with the wisdom and with the ways of man
The only way is Jesus Christ for the world
Throughout history this was God's plan

This Gospel will be preached
till all nations are reached
Then our work here on the earth is done
Only then the end will come

And even if the Church no longer speaks Your Name
and turns from the Lord in shame
Though all the nations may hate and persecute,
we'll always trust in You

The message of the cross, God's power they can't see
How foolish we seem to be
We give the Word of life to people lost in strife
and foolishly save the world for Christ

Time after time God's foolish people will arise
As they pray for the world to be renewed
Through missions may we save all nations for Christ
For this is the one thing we must do
